Pierre Brennan holds a MM in Neurologic Music Therapy from Colorado State University, He is a Music Therapist – Board Certified (MT-BC #07858), Fellow of the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)#1-11-81480). Pierre combines
developmental approaches with the science of learning and the power of music, Pierre blends the openness of play with underlying behavioral principles to shape and encourage social communication and emotional connectedness. He is the founding director of Developmental Rhythms, serving children and young adults with special needs through his expertise in neurologic music therapy, physiological science, and ethnomusicology. As a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, he collaborated with the UNICEF Safe Motherhood and Child Survival Project, and studied the drumming culture of the Konkomba warrior tribe. Aside from promoting children’s health issues in social media, he tends to his organic garden and enjoys backpacking in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
